Nice staff, pleasant (if basic and small) rooms in a quiet, convenient location. No air conditioning in our room, but the ceiling fan coped with the weather conditions during our stay. An uninsulated, plasterboard wall to the corridor made it feel like the other guests were walking, talking and wheeling their bags past the foot of our bed. The "Do Not Disturb" sign we posted on our door was ignored by the housekeeper who banged on our door two hours before check-out time, waking us (yet again). Not good. On balance, it's a quaint, European-style hotel but (being Australia) doesn't have European-style brick/stone (or at least acoustically-insulated) wall-construction to all walls. Light-sleepers beware.
