    We've been here a few times, it seems to have the cheapest pints of Guinness around Sydney (add a dollar on the next corner west, or double the price near Town Hall station). The staff have always been pleasant and friendly, the food quite good. Be aware that lunch is NOT available on Sunday. As that is the cheap public transport day, it seems a bit silly - more so when the bar staff have mentioned a few times that SO many people come looking for lunch on Sunday. Hopefully management will wake up soon & realise how much they are losing out on. If I have to eat elsewhere, I may as well drink there. The pub is roughly half way between Central and Town Hall stations, an easy walk from either station (getting back is 1/2 the fun).

    A mecca for my Brazilian students, this is a place with good value beer deals and a decent range of pub food. With TV screens, bar and dining areas, this place has a classy yet accessible look to it and has a band performing live as well on certain days. A great place that doesn't look seedy or questionable and good for a night out with friends and a beer.

    Has become out new lunch spot on a Friday. Really good quality food for prices almost unseen by any other pub in the city. Pints are under $9, which seems to be the average cost of schooners in most places. The only issue is the long waits when it's busy and it can get quite noisy!

    Great local place to have some beverages and a nice meal from the menu. Have a good choice of wines and beers and the food is delicious. Friendly bar staff and customers as normal

    Good portion size for the money, with lots of hearty Irish fare for the winter months. Pretty quiet during the day, and getting a seat wasn't a problem for our mid-week group booking.
